- Is Chastain Soccer Academy for both boys and girls?
Yes! Both boys and girls ages 8-17 are encouraged to attend. The boys will be train with boys, and the girls will train with other girls. The player to coach ratio will be approximately 15-1.
- Do you offer Individual Instruction or Team Instruction for the players?
Both. Each camper will experience training as an individual and as a unit. Each day will have technical and tactical training sessions. The goal is to help build the complete player.
- Where will camp check-in be held and what do I need to bring?
Camp check-in will be held an hour before camp on the first day at the playing fields and 15 minutes before camp begins the remainder of the week.
- Where do I pick up my child at the end of each day?
Every day at the end of camp, the players will be released at the same time at the location designated by the Camp Director.
- How can I contact my child at camp?
If your child does not have a mobile phone, you may call 408-375-0489. Please try to use this line as an Emergency Contact line only.
- How long is the camp?
The camp is 4 days long. Please check the schedule for exact dates and times.
- What happens if the weather does not cooperate?
Camp will be held rain or shine. In the event of dangerous conditions such as lightning or extreme heat, the camp directors will take the proper steps to provide safety for all players.
- Can parents watch camp sessions?
Parents are welcome to watch their children at camp from a distance.
- How much is the camp?
$225.00
- How do I register my child for this experience?
Online or via mail.
- Is there a registration deadline?
The deadline to register online or by mail is June 12. We will offer “day of registration” to those that miss the deadline. There will be an additional $25 fee to those that register on the first day.
- Does Chastain Soccer Academy have a cancellation policy?
There is a $100 cancellation fee if the camper cancels.
- What if a camper has to arrive late or leave early?
This is something that is never ideal. From the minute students arrive, to the time they check out, we will be covering large amounts of information designed to help them succeed. There will be no refunds, nor will tuition be pro-rated, for these situations.
- What is the typical day at camp like?
Check in…a technical warm up…technical training…tactical training…game-like situational training sessions.
- Does Chastain Soccer Academy have any camps or clinics outside the summer months?
CSA will offer other camps and clinics in the future to those players looking for the knowledge they need and the experience they deserve!
- Do campers need a medical form?
YES! All campers must have a completed medical form singed by a parent or guardian prior to participating in camp.
